Today, I am reaching out to share with you a heartfelt initiative that is not just close to my heart but also vital for the future of Haiti. As someone who has walked the halls of College Evangelique Emmanuel, I have seen firsthand the potential and resilience in our youth. In times of crisis, it becomes even more crucial to provide avenues for hope and growth.
This is where the Sustainovation program comes in, a beacon of empowerment for the youth of Haiti. Our mission is simple yet profound: to teach 150 students from CEE the skills of sustainable living through backyard farming. This includes practical, hands-on experience in raising chickens and growing vegetables. But why is this important? Because through this program, we are not just teaching agriculture; we are sowing seeds of self-reliance, community responsibility, and environmental stewardship. These skills are not only essential for personal development but are also critical in rebuilding and strengthening communities in Haiti. However, to make this vision a reality, we need your help. A donation of $25 per student can make a world of difference. It will provide the necessary materials and instruction for these young minds to thrive in their endeavors. Your support means enabling a student to learn, grow, and contribute to the rebuilding of a new Haiti. Join us in this journey of Sustainovation. Together, we can cultivate a generation of leaders and changemakers who will steer Haiti towards a brighter, more sustainable future. Your contribution, big or small, is a step towards empowering the youth of Haiti and igniting a spark of positive change in our beloved country. In Service, Ebed Paul, MENH President.
